Correction policy
Accuracy matters more than saving face. We review specific correction requests, update the affected article when the evidence supports a change, and record material corrections below.
How to request a correction
Email gadgetauditinfo@gmail.com with the article title or URL, the exact passage you believe is wrong, the proposed correction, and a primary or authoritative source when one is available.
What enters the public log
We log factual corrections and material clarifications. Routine spelling, punctuation, formatting and accessibility fixes do not enter the log unless they changed the meaning of a passage.
What every log entry will show
- The date of the correction.
- The affected article and passage.
- What was previously stated and what replaced it.
- Why the correction was made.
We do not quietly delete a confirmed material error. If a full article must be withdrawn, the page will retain a clear withdrawal notice and the reason.
